Since 1944, the Holy Ghost Fathers (Spiritans) have provided an all - inclusive education for boys of primary school age.  Today this tradition is continued by a highly qualified dedicated staff who provide a safe and caring learning environment from boys from Junior Infants to Sixth form.  Boys who join the school receive an education which emphasises academic progress in addition to the spiritual, sporting and artistic development of each child.

At 10am this morning all the boys in St. Michaels gathered in the sports hall for a dance off! This was part of the Operation Transformation Challenge. The challenge was that all Primary Schools in Ireland were to do 10 minutes of exercise at 10am on the 10th of February. The boys really showed off all their moves and everyone had a great time. Thank you very much to Ms. Doyle on having the boys so well prepared.

Art Week is taking place this week in St. Michael’s College Junior School. It is proving to be a wonderful success and the boys have produced truly impressive masterpieces. It is a great opportunity for the children to express their creative talents and is being thoroughly enjoyed by all.

A big thank you to all the parents, relatives and friends of families who have kindly come in to speak to the boys and share their artistic experiences and talents with them.
