Since 1944, the Holy Ghost Fathers (Spiritans) have provided an all - inclusive education for boys of primary school age.  Today this tradition is continued by a highly qualified dedicated staff who provide a safe and caring learning environment from boys from Junior Infants to Sixth form.  Boys who join the school receive an education which emphasises academic progress in addition to the spiritual, sporting and artistic development of each child.

Senior Infants celebrating their successful half mile

Well done to all students in participated in the Jingle Bell run before the Christmas break. Classes 1st-6th completed a mile around our 400m running track, while Pre-school, Junior Infants and Senior Infants completed a half mile. All students participated with great joy and enthusiasm to welcome in the holiday season. Well done to all and a huge thanks to all parents who came out in support of the students.

Everyone in St. Michael's College would like to take this opportunity to wish all the parents, grandparents, minders and helpers a very Happy Christmas and of course a Happy New Year.

Recently all the classes in the school performed mini concerts in the Merrion Centre. The classes all sang Christmas carols such as Silent Night and Away in a Manger, and also more festive songs like Jingle Bells. It was obvious by all who watched the boys how much enjoyment they get out of singing such well loved songs. The boys were also able to raise €2174.39 in donations from their parents, grandparents and other onlookers. All the money will go towards the local St. Vincent de Paul. Many thanks to everyone who donated money.
