Shoebox Appeal

All the boys in the school were visited by a member of Team Hope today. Team Hope are the charity that help vulnerable children overseas by presenting them with Christmas shoeboxes each year. The boxes are no ordinary shoeboxes but are packed with presents that the children of Ireland have bought for those who are less fortunate than themselves. All the boys in the school have brought home a brochure with information on how to take part. Team Hope have asked that all shoeboxes are brought into school in 2 weeks.

We were so lucky today learning about rescue helicopters. One of the Dad in our classroom told us all about them.
We all had our teddy bears. We sat in a circle with our little snacks and introduced the teddies to each other and read a story and played.
We were so lucky to play with Giants Snakes and Ladders and some of us were so determent to make sure that the buzzer wont buzz until we get the stick to the end of the line.
We were making lovely pink flamingos.
