First Holy Communion

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to the pupils in Second Form who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 12th May. The Chief Celebrant on the day was Fr. Paddy Moran C.S.Sp. with Fr. Tony Little C.S.Sp. concelebrating.

Sincere thanks to Mr. Tierney for preparing the boys so excellently, and also to Ms. Monahan and Mr. Hogan for all their help. We are also grateful to Ms. Larkin and the choir for the beautiful singing which greatly enhanced the ceremony. The choir were accompanied by Ms. Denise Kelly on harp to whom we also express our appreciation. After the ceremony, the boys and their families enjoyed a wonderful reception in the Assembly Hall.

We are very grateful to the parents in First Form under the direction of Mrs. Emma Calvert who prepared and served the delicious food on the day.

We were so lucky today learning about rescue helicopters. One of the Dad in our classroom told us all about them.
We all had our teddy bears. We sat in a circle with our little snacks and introduced the teddies to each other and read a story and played.
We were so lucky to play with Giants Snakes and Ladders and some of us were so determent to make sure that the buzzer wont buzz until we get the stick to the end of the line.
We were making lovely pink flamingos.
